Hi, I’m Angie.
For years I was the one who made sure everyone else's mission succeeded. In scrubs, in uniform, and at home. I could walk into a team that was coming apart, see what each person was good at before they saw it themselves, and put them where it counted.
I was very good at seeing the value in other people, although at times I had difficulty seeing it in myself.
Then my circumstances unexpectedly changed and deployments were no longer something I could continue. I needed to be around for my daughter. She is my WHY. After ten years I walked away from the uniform and the guaranteed paycheck, and people told me I was crazy.
What I learned is that the title stayed with the job. The skill came with me.
Now I help the people everyone calls first find the skill they've been overlooking and build it into something that is finally theirs.
